Well, things are coming along apace now! We've made most of the arrangements and got the rings, photgrapher, dress and venue sorted. We're both very excited, and can't wait for the big day.
We went up to Hazelwood at the weekend for another look around, and as luck would have it there was a wedding on that day following almost the same format as we have planned, so we could see how everything looks set out (I've put some photo's on the site). We were lucky enough to see the blushing bride being piped over to the chapel after her civil ceremony, and everyone was suitably teary-eyed!

We're going up to Hazelwood for our first official planning meeting this weekend; it all seems to be coming round so fast, I can't believe it's nearly a year since I popped the question! Anyway, it's almost time to choose menu's and music and seating plans, so we're both getting a bit giddy again....roll on April!

Well, the big day is drawing near and we have (almost) gotten everything arranged. Flowers, invites and table decorations were arranged at the weekend, leaving only a DJ to find. We're both really excited and can't wait to see everyone on the big day!

We're almost there! Only seven weeks to go, and we'll be waking up on what will (hopefully) be a beauftiful sunny day. The dress is in for the final nip/tuck, the cakes on order, and the DJ is standing by. All we need now is the weather! We're both so excited, and soooo tired; who'd have thought a wedding would be such hard work? Can't wait to see you all there, and if you heven't sent back your RSVP then get it in the post today!
02/05/2010 Well, here we are and the dust is settling from what has been the most magical, romantic, exciting and amazing day of our lives. My cheeks are still aching from smiling and laughing so much, and we're absolutely exhausted - physically and emotionally - from the whole day.
Everyone made our day so special for us, and an extra special thanks to Gemma, Guy, Fr Ian and all the other staff at Hazlewood for helping us with the dream wedding we so desperately wanted!
